An unexpected, extraordinary and utterly wonderful sight occurred this week when a Goshawk brought down a Carrion Crow in my garden in Devon and decided to demolish it in the vegetable patch. I will post some of the rather gory photographs of the Goshawk on a separate page with a link from here and would ask any Goshawk enthusiasts who can tell me more about this wonderful bird to contact me. from what I understand, Goshawks are quite shy , timid birds of prey that inhabit woodland areas and have no problem in taking a crow or rabbit for dinner.

Though I am not sure if this a Female  Goshawk or a Male Goshawk, there are bound to be some birding enthusiasts who can tell me more about this staggeringly beautiful bird of prey?
